Deloitte acquires Gryphon Scientific Business to expand security, science and public health capabilities

The acquisition will strengthen Deloitte’s team with a complement of data-driven biosecurity emergency detection, prevention and response solutions.

ARLINGTON, Va., April 292024 /PRNewswire/ — Deloitte announced that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Gryphon Scientific, LLC (Gryphon), a leader in biosafety, biosecurity and all-hazards preparedness and response with expertise in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve safety and security. Deloitte’s competitive advantage will be strengthened by Gryphon’s multidisciplinary team joining Deloitte, made up of scientists, programmers and policy and planning professionals with expertise in data science, science communications, modeling and risk assessment. Gryphon’s cadre of specialists will enhance Deloitte’s ability to address its clients’ most complex mission challenges, from informing secure policies and practices around new technologies and AI to strengthening capabilities to prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease threats worldwide.
